Alpha Media, Savannah-Hilton Head Held 3rd Annual “Stuff the Sled” for Toys for Tots!

December 14, 2015 – Alpha Media, Savannah-Hilton Head announced that Rock 106.1 just wrapped up their 3rd Annual “Stuff the Sled” in benefit of Toys For Tots at the Savannah Mall. The Rock team spent 5 days straight from Wednesday December 2nd through Sunday December 6th, 24 hours a day in a RV together gathering toys and cash donations.

Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity is the fundraising, funding and support organization for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation was created at the behest of the U. S. Marine Corps and provides support in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commander, Marine Forces Reserve, who directs the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation has supported Toys for Tots since 1991.

Alpha Media Operations Manager Rob Walker commented on the announcement, “The Rock Team once again show their commitment to the community by raising cash and toys for the kids of the low country and coastal empire. Now go take a shower!”

“It’s always great to see the Rock 106.1 listeners come out to help the kids. It’s an honor to team up with the Marines and it’s something we look forward to every year,” Gabe “Kotter” Reynolds, Rock 106.1 Program Director remarked.
