Alpha Media, Savannah-Hilton Head Raises Over $35,000 with 4th Annual “Tats for Ta-Tas”
SAVANNAH, GA, December 9, 2016 – Alpha Media, Savannah-Hilton Head announced that Bob 106.9’s Tim Leary and the Morning Showgram just wrapped up their 4th Annual “Tats for Ta-Tas” breast cancer awareness program and raised over $35,000 in benefit of the Nancy N. & J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion at St. Joseph’s/Candler. Locally the team raised $15,000 which was then matched by an anonymous foundation that donated an additional $20,000 to The National Breast Cancer Foundation!
Tim and his on-air co-hosts, Red and Claire Beverly covered themselves in over 3,000 henna tattoos of survivor names and ran the Savannah EnMarket Bridge Run on Saturday December 3rd in their memory.
Alpha Media Market Manager, Gigi South commented on the announcement, “Thank you to Tim, Red, Claire and the entire BOB 106.9 team for giving their time to help end this horrible disease. Thank you to EnMarket and all the donors who contributed.”
