Alpha Media, Shreveport Strengthens Community
SHREVEPORT, LA, August 8, 2016 – Alpha Media, Shreveport hosted a Sunday Fun Day event on July 24th to help strengthen unity among the community. The event was held from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Lee Hedges stadium and over 1,900 citizens attended.
Sunday Fun Day included sack races, bean bag toss, tug-of-war, inflatable fun zone, track & field competitions for adults and children, an old-school hip-hop dance contest, D.A.R.E. vehicles, the Shreveport Fire Department fire safety house, and more. The Shreveport Police & Fire Departments, the Shreveport City Marshal Office and the Caddo Parish Sheriff Office were present and interacted with citizens to fortify trust within the community they serve.
Alpha Media Account Executive, Rasheeda Joseph-Simmons commented on the event, “Alpha Media Shreveport employees worked extremely hard to make this event come together. We had 1,936 people who showed up to have a great time and interact with the community officials!”
