Greenville’s Jim Mantel to be Inducted into Country Radio Hall of Fame

GREENVILLE, NC, February 27, 2017 – Alpha Media, Greenville-New Bern-Jacksonville is proud to announce that WRNS Morning Host, Jim Mantel will be inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame. The ceremony will be held at the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, TN this June.

Jim’s 35-year radio career started in West Texas at KNFM, KRYS, and KKBQ. He then spent 18 ½ years hosting the morning show at WGAR in Cleveland, OH. Jim has won the CMA Personality of the Year award and is an inductee in the Ohio Radio and Television Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
