101.9 KINK Raises Over $130,000 for World Concern

PORTLAND, OR, May 3, 2017 – Alpha Media, Portland is proud to announce 101.9 KINK FM raised $134,000 with a radiothon for World Concern “One Village Transformed,” produced by i58:10 Media. The goal of the radiothon was to establish 102 new donors and they were able to exceed their goal with 112 new donors.

KINK listeners have supported a 3-year, 3-stage plan to transform Abongo, a South Sudan village, and help the 1,987 people living there survive and ultimately become self-sufficient through World Concern. World Concern is a Christian humanitarian organization headquartered in Seattle that serves in 12 countries worldwide. World Concern’s targeted goals are to respond to disasters, dig wells, and educate people. More than 90% of all donations go directly to programs serving the people they work with including; marginalized farmers, tribal people, orphans and vulnerable women & children.
