Alpha Media Closes Purchase Of Free Lance-Star Radio And Coast Radio Company Radio Stations

Alpha Media of Portland, Oregon announced today they have closed the purchases of radio stations from Coast Radio Company and Free Lance-Star Radio.

The radio stations purchased from Coast Radio Company today include three stations; KUIC(FM) located in Vacaville, CA., KKIQ(FM) in Livermore, CA. and KKDV(FM) in Walnut Creek, CA. Free Lance-Star four radio stations purchased today include; WFLS (FM) and WNTX (AM) in Fredericksburg, VA; WVBX (FM) in Spotsylvania, VA and WWUZ (FM) in Bowling Green, VA.

When all pending deals are completed, it will bring the total number of stations owned by Alpha Media to ninety-nine. Chairman of Alpha Media, Larry Wilson commented on the closures, “We are very fortunate to be able to work with such great employees at all of the stations. Each cluster is exceptional and brings its own unique attributes to the company, allowing us to build a diverse and dynamic culture.”

Media Venture Partners was the broker for Coast Radio Group and George Reed of Media Services Group was the broker for Free Lance-Star Radio.
