Alpha Media Supports Breast Cancer Awareness
During the month of October, Alpha Media markets across the U.S. worked hard to support and raise funds for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Alpha Media held an internal competition to see which market could donate the most to the cause. The total donated was $13,803 with Portland in the lead with $11,840.
Randi P’Pool, Alpha Media, VP, Marketing and American Cancer Society Volunteer commented on the announcement, “Every single one of us has been touched by cancer and often, we’re left feeling helpless as we painfully watch someone go through it. This was our way to help. I’m so appreciative and proud of our Alpha team for passionately uniting to support these extraordinary organizations that are out there every day advocating for greater treatments, research, and care.”
