Canton’s WHBC and Mix 94.1 Sponsor McKinley-Massillon Food Fight and Raise Over 70,000 Pounds of Food

Alpha Media, Canton, OH announced that for the 7th year in a row, WHBC-AM and Mix 94.1 (WHBC-FM) presented the McKinley-Massillon Food Fight. A total of 78,856 pounds of groceries was donated to feed the hungry in Stark County through food and monetary donations.

McKinley and Massillon are rival high schools in the Stark County area, but they come together to collect donations for the Stark County Hunger Task Force. Massillon captured honors in the seventh annual Food Fight bringing in 42,932 pounds of donations, beating out McKinley fans by more than 7,008 pounds. In the past 7 years, fans brought in more than 250,856 pounds of food.
