San Jose’s Mix 106 Raises $5,000 for Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford
Alpha Media, San Jose, CA., launched the first Mix 106 (KEZR) Holiday Toy Drive to benefit Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford on November 30th and December 1st from Main Street Cupertino shopping center. All Mix 106 local on-air personalities broadcasted live for the two days and collected $5,000 in toys, cash, and gift cards for the hospital while offering prizes to listeners for their donations from local sponsors as well as autographed items including an Ed Sheeran autographed guitar.
Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford is a nonprofit hospital that relies on donor support to provide lifesaving care for kids and expectant moms. Lucile Packard never turns away any local family due to their financial circumstances: 40% of their patients receive financial assistance. Lucile Packard Children’s sees 71,000 patients each year.
