“When you hear Kevin on a sports broadcast, regardless of the team, he is always positive about the players and their performance. Coaches and Athletic Directors from across the State of Missouri consider it an honor to
be on the air and interviewed by Kevin.”
Operations Manager, Mike Morris, worked with Kevin at KLWT in Lebanon before both came to work for KJEL. Morris notes that Kevin Stubblefield takes his sports broadcasts very seriously. He is constantly on the phone with coaches and players, and dedicates the time necessary to produce a quality broadcast. “Kevin can always be counted on to be a
professional and fair sports broadcaster.” Kevin thanks his family for their support during his 40 years of broadcasting
games. During the sports season, he would spend as many as 4 nights a week on the road, and then come back into the station at 4:00 am to do the morning show.
Kevin will join other notable sports figures going into the Missouri Hall of Fame including Tamba Hali of Kansas City Chiefs, Mizzou Running Back, Devin West, former Salem football coach Bill Schuchardt, and Central Missouri University Quarterback Scott Loveland.
